Our signature wine is Unison Classic Blend. A blend should harmonise the flavours of the vineyard's grapes to create a wine of distinction. Many people blending red wines follow the traditional Bordeaux styles of belding Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon. Unison's Classic Blend has always added a splash of Syrah to create a wine full of style and elegence. A true representation of the Gimblett Gravels Terroir. We aim to ensure the wine is well balanced with a fine tannin structure, well defined fruit and floral characters together with a long satisfying finish.
Current Vintage: 2013
Tasting Note - Complex aromas of dark fleshy fruit, laced with cardamom and nutmeg along with a touch of leather. A refreshing vibrantly flavoured entry onto the palate. As the wine flows through the mouth, dark berry fruit flavours are highlighted along with chocolate and a savoury note reminiscent of North African spice. Finely textured tannins complete the palate and carry the complex flavours onto the finish.
