Unison Selection 2002

Again Unison Selection 2002 is a blend of Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon and, like for our Unison brand, we are looking for an overall balance and harmony. Aged for around 20 months in barriques the wine is transferred to our big casks for a final gentile harmonizing process of around 5 month.

Almost black in colour Unison Selection has an aristocratic aroma ranging from blackberries to plum complexed with notes of nuts and spices. The palate is rich, concentrated, wonderfully balanced and full of the flavours suggested on the nose. Finely structured and soft tannins lead to a beautifully long and lingering finish. Being so well balanced, this wine can be enjoyed when young but has significant cellaring potential up to 15 years.
