Unison 2004

Unison 2004 is, like usual, a blend of Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon and is created as a very fine food wine. This is the reason that Unison is aged mainly in big casks of Slovenia oak instead of barriques. That this wine doesn’t need the “support” of oak explains that the fruit material was in excellent physiological ripe conditions.

The wine shows great depth in concentration of fine cherry and berry fruit aromas combined with fine floral notes. The palate is complex and round and the flavours follows through from the aroma already showing in the bouquet. Ripe and silky tannins give the wine a great balance through to a long and elegant finish.
