Last year we launched our fun "wine of the moment" Recession Red, which brought a smile to the faces of many customers through out the year. Since it’s launch we have had a lot of fun planning a follow up wine and here it is Recovery Red! The move towards a Bull market deserves a bigger, bolder wine. Aged in small oak barrels, this smooth red blend is a delight.

A seamless blend of Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, here are winemaker Jenny Dobson’s tasting notes:

“Bright ruby red colour with purple highlights instantly warms the heart. Spicy cherry with touches of chocolate and sweet leather aromas abound on the nose.

Inviting, supple entry onto the palate, with fine tannins and flavours that linger giving the wine definition and balance.

A perfect blend where the three grape varieties work together to give an harmonious symphony of flavours where each element plays it’s part but none dominate.

A medium bodied wine that is packed with flavour, enjoy often with friends.”

Unwind after a busy day with Recovery Red and look forward to a brighter future.

At only $15 per bottle when you buy a case, this wine is set to be a winner and there are only 3000 bottles so make sure you don’t miss out get some today.

Recession Red was our first limited release fun "wine of the moment" which was designed to bring some relief to the woes of the 2009 global recession and the dreaded swine flu! There were only 3000 bottles made and it was a flavoursome and lively wine. In case you are lucky enough to have found a bottle hidden somewhere in the depths of your cellar or covered in dust at the back of a shelf in a fine wine store, here are some tasting notes. Let us know how it's drinking!

A refreshing, enticing, Cabernet Syrah blend made from top quality grapes harvested from the family vineyard on the Gimblett Gravels and aged in small oak barrels. An inviting red wine that shows a seamless integration between nose and palate. Here are winemaker Jenny Dobson’s tasting notes:

A vibrant purple red colour that sparkles in the glass. Fragrant, with dark plum, sweet spice, chocolate and vanilla aromas on the nose. Round and flavoursome in the mouth with supple, well integrated tannins. The finish is refreshing with lingering flavours of ripe fruit and spice.

As we say on the label this is a wine to enjoy now, recessions don't last forever.
